“We wanted a place where everyone felt comfortable bringing their children.”

A lot of your restaurants — they either have one thing or another,” Sahler said. “Either they got great food or a great bar. The thing about a great restaurant is that you’re family friendly but the thing about a great bar is that you’re not family friendly. My vision was a kid-friendly place where I could hit everyone from infants to 90-year-olds.”

“Appetite is a necessity
at Burgers & Blues.”

In addition to signature creations like “The BNB,” “Sonic Boom” and “The County Line,” other burgers are arranged with everything from pimento cheese to pineapple. “THE WHAMMY,” three one-pound patties with all the trimmings, is the restaurant’s ultimate eating challenge. Winners who finish in 30 minutes or less get the meal free, a BNB T-shirt and photo on the wall of fame next to a personally signed photo from Adam Richman and the Man V Food Nation crew who filmed at BNB in November 2011! “What a great experience to have Adam and his crew here at BNB, it will always be remembered as an awesome time with a nice group of guys.”

“Kitchen preparation is labor intensive.”

A Every morning the produce truck leaves the crew with hundreds of pounds of potatoes and beef. Everything is prepared fresh daily. Customers not only rave about the piping hot hamburgers and mouth-watering appetizers, but also the restaurant’s nightly live music.”

Just off of County Line Road in Ridgeland, Burgers & Blues is THE spot for great food, service and atmosphere. Owner Steven Sahler said the combination of a family restaurant with a lively nightspot was always intended.

Meet Our Management Team

General Manager

With over 17 years of experience working in the restaurant business, Jeremiah brings a wealth of knowledge to Burgers and Blues. He started his career as a prep cook in a small restaurant in Mandeville, Louisiana. For the next decade, he continued to climb the ranks within the restaurant business, working as a bartender and then manager at various operations around the Hattiesburg and Jackson, Mississippi areas. Jeremiah previously managed Burgers and Blues from 2011-2012. Taking advantage of his extensive industry knowledge, he briefly left to do consulting work and to open other area restaurants.
After several years, our owner, Steven Sahler, and Jeremiah would once again cross paths.  Steven invited Jeremiah to come back and join the Burgers and Blues family, and offered him the opportunity to take over day-to-day operations as General Manager. Jeremiah accepted and now, together with his exceptional leadership team, has been working hard to make Burgers and Blues YOUR choice for a great night out.

Kitchen Manager

While attending college at Ole Miss, Jordan found his passion in the restaurant industry. He started busing tables at Sweet Peppers in Ridgeland, then moved on to waiting tables at Harvey’s restaurant in Starkville. After moving back to the Jackson area, he waited tables and worked in the kitchen for 2 years at Majestic Burger. Eager to learn more and expand his restaurant knowledge, Jordan then spent eight months honing his culinary techniques under Chef Jesse Houston at Saltine Oyster Bar. Jordan jumped at the opportunity to become  our Kitchen Manager and is proud to be a part of the Burgers and Blues family. Jordan welcomes feedback regarding the menu and strives to make your dining experience exceptional by using the freshest ingredients, cooked to your satisfaction.
